I am a Counselling Psychologist and Psychosexual and Relationship therapist and as such have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients with problems such as anxiety, chronic illness, depression, OCD, PTSD, fears and phobias as well as a wide range of sexual and relationship issues.
Over the past 35 years I have worked in GP primary care, teaching hospitals, the voluntary charity and private health sectors in addition to teaching and writing on disability and diversity. I am also a trained psychosexual and relationship therapist.
As a disabled person since my early childhood and having experienced living with a chronic illness later in life I have a special interest in the challenge of emotional well-being for those of us living with long term conditions, disability and chronic illness.
