Choosing to engage with therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s important to find the right therapist for you. You may be struggling with an issue; you may find yourself in a repeating pattern of behaviour; or you may wish to explore existential issues in order to find greater meaning in your life. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore whatever you bring without judgement. I work psycho-dynamically. Put simply, this means that we will explore together the ways in which you have dealt with experiences and relationships in the past so that we can impact the ways in which you deal with them in the future.
Exploring childhood memories, dreams, doodles, and fantasies, you will discover unconscious beliefs, feelings, and world views that have held you back – and in that discovery find more freedom and autonomy, and the chance to let go of unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. I have taught meditation for the past 15 years, which informs my work.
I will ‘meet’ you wherever you are in your journey, and we will travel together from there. We will work together for as long as seems appropriate. I encourage face-to-face sessions wherever possible. If this seems like a good fit for you, do get in touch. I offer a free 30 minute initial session to assess the scope and nature of the work.
