Hi, I’m Claire, a counsellor who helps parents find themselves again after having children.
Becoming a parent can change everything: your routines, your relationships, even how you see yourself. For many, it’s not just the sleepless nights that are hard, but the emotional shifts no one warned you about. Maybe you feel anxious, snappy, tearful, or just… not like you.
I support mums and dads who are feeling overwhelmed, numb, stuck, or low, whether that’s from anxiety or depression, burnout, a traumatic birth, or the invisible pressure to hold it all together.
I offer online support for parents who feel constantly on edge, worrying about their baby’s safety, or haunted by a difficult birth. For those who feel they’ve lost their old self and aren’t sure who they are anymore. You might feel exhausted by the endless feeds, decisions, and invisible mental load, or notice strain creeping into your relationships.
Therapy with me isn’t formal or clinical; it’s a space to breathe. We slow things down, make sense of what’s been happening, and start finding ways for you to feel more grounded and confident again. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re still in the thick of babyhood or navigating life with a toddler to a teenager
