Are you supporting a person with a learning disability, ADHD or autism who is in crisis or going through a transition and are experiencing mental health difficulties? Do you have a learning disability, ADHD or autism and are feeling upset, scared or angry much of the time? I use a variety of evidence based treatments and provide diagnostic assessments. I support people when theya going through a crisis or transition, need clarity via an assessment/diagnosis and to help clients and their families lead a fulfilling life understanding and reducing mental health problems and/or challenging behaviour.
I have been a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a specialism in autism and learning disabilities working within the NHS for over 26 years. I am passionate about providing therapy within learning disability, ADHD and autism for teens, adults and older adults; consultation & training to carers and families. I provide diagnostic assessment and therapy.
Often the first step to seek professional help is hardest when you need it most. It is hard to feel hopeful when things have been difficult for some time.
