My work is from a person-centred approach, which means I will work with you to create a warm, safe relationship where you feel supported to explore your experiences and feelings. Maybe you have things you want to say, that you have never said, or never felt understood by anyone. Maybe you feel lost and overwhelmed. Maybe you need space to process what is happening in your world. I'd like to listen, with no judgement, no shame and with care and kindness.
Sometimes talking can bring intense feelings of distress, we can also work on ways to regulate and tolerate the discomfort that can arise. It’s safe to come as you are.
I have extensive experience of working with clients bringing loss, grief, mental ill health, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and significant life events. I have specialisms in eating issues, infertility, baby loss including TFMR and grief. I have worked with many autistic adult women, and with people who have depression, anxiety, or have suffered trauma.
I know that thinking about coming to therapy probably feels scary, is this right, how will it work - so many questions. Please get in touch and let's have an initial chat so you can meet me, ask questions and see if we feel like a fit. I know that might feel difficult but talking that first step and reaching out could be the best thing you can do for you.
