I believe every person is unique and no one size fits all. I strive to understand you and your personal needs, tailoring the approach to you. I incorporate not only emotions but the body, spirituality, cultural and lingual aspects of my client's life. I draw from a variety of approaches including person-centred, attachment, existential and psychodynamic. I will incorporate experimental methods, CBT, mindfulness techniques as appropriate. I have experience in working with issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, sexuality, relationships, trauma, abuse, life changes, cultural issues to help you gain a deeper understanding.
My approach to therapy work is client centred and integrative. Whilst you have the answers, I believe in exploring and reflecting on issues together, in a safe, non-judgemental space where every emotion and feeling is allowed to surface. Together we will decide the scope of the therapy to bring clarity and authenticity into your life and decision making.
