I am an experienced couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist, with additional qualifications and training in systemic approaches to working with individuals, families and organisations. I trained at Tavistock and Portman Clinic and at Tavistock Relationships, a world-renowned institution and specialist in relationship therapy. My aim is to help individuals and couples better understand themselves and their relationships, so they can have more supportive and fulfilling relationships. With therapy, both the couple and the individual can gain insight and grow – emerging strengthened by the experience.
Rooted in a psychodynamic framework, I strongly believe in the importance of the therapeutic alliance—the trust between a client and therapist required to make progress and facilitate change. My approach is thus empathic and gentle. I offer clients a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings, worries, or any other anxieties and concerns.
Therapy is a mutual process where, together, we explore the conscious dynamics at play while seeking the less conscious material that might emerge to enable further understanding and transition and, ultimately, to create change.
