Have you wanted to address your problems for a while but felt unsure about taking that first step? I will work with you at your own pace, creating a safe environment in which we can work through the issues you are facing. We can work together through areas in your life that you may have found hard to deal with, with a clearer understanding of how your issues are affecting you, you can move on with support and find your direction in life. I am a fully insured, qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor running a private practice in Heathfield offering both short and long-term therapy.
I am the lead counsellor for Living Well charity, as psychotherapeutic counsellor. I have also worked in the prison sector as a drug and alcohol practitioner. I volunteered my time as one of the senior integrative therapists at Mind with clients using different therapies.
I believe working with empathy and compassion with my clients, this is the basis of building a positive relationship with client and therapist. Using empathy and compassion is key, it helps to build a safe space for us to work together in a completely confidential space. Using empathy the client feels I am listening without making judgement or suggestion.
