About
I can help you with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, stress, suicidal thoughts and relationship issues. I am a passionate believer in the 'Person Centred Approach' and the positive effect this type of counselling can have on a person. Having a safe space to talk about yourself and your life, where no judgement is made, will enable you to find your way back to a more positive way of being.
Working as a 'Person Centred' counsellor, enables me to offer you a therapeutic relationship which encourages empowerment and growth to help you begin to trust in yourself, learn about who you are and how you are in the world and why you have experienced such difficulties in your life.
Occasionally I might work with you in a more 'integrative' way but will always ground this work in the values of the 'Person Centred Approach'. As well as being a counsellor, I am also a qualified Counselling Supervisor and have worked as a Tutor with Glasgow Clyde College.
