I am a professional, empathic, and friendly BACP accredited Integrative Counsellor, working with both individuals and couples. With over 20 years experience, I provide a safe, confidential environment in which you can discuss your feelings and concerns without judgement. People may seek therapy because they have reached a crisis point in their life and are struggling to cope alone. Others make contact because they feel stuck or have become aware that they keep falling into unhelpful behaviour or thought patterns which prevent them from living life to the full.
My aim is to help you work towards gaining a greater understanding and awareness of the way you feel or behave. As an Integrative counsellor, I don't adhere to one specific counselling model but draw from several approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, systemic and cognitive behavioural therapy.
My experience includes working for Bexley and Greenwich Resource for Alcohol, and for Family Matters, counselling adult & child survivors of sexual abuse. I have also worked in the private and NHS care sector, which has given me the discipline and grounding integral in my practice.
