Thank you for visiting my profile. I offer a safe, warm and non-judgemental space for you to come and talk and can offer either a fixed number of sessions, or longer term counselling. I have experience of working with a wide range of issues such as post traumatic stress disorder, childhood sexual abuse, depression, surviving narcissitic abuse, low self esteem, panic attacks, personality disorders, anxiety and bereavement. I will listen deeply and explore what has happened to you rather than what is wrong with you and support you to find different ways of approaching challenges within your life.
In addition to counselling, I am also a specialist in trauma work and am qualified to use EMDR, which is particularly helpful for people with post traumatic stress disorder, phobias, depression and anxiety.
The first appointment with me is always free. During the first time we meet I will take brief details of what is bothering you and explain how I work and how counselling may help. It is important that you feel that you can connect and talk to me and for this reason the first session is free - so that we can check that counselling is the right way for you.
