I am a warm, empathic and sensitive therapist with over 15 years of therapeutic experience. I work with children, young people, and women, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore life’s challenges and begin to heal – at your own pace. My aim is to help you to build your confidence, self-esteem and resilience, particularly at a time when you might be feeling vulnerable and struggling to cope. I work from a Relational approach where the therapeutic relationship is central, considering our relationships, how we relate to ourselves and others. The therapeutic relationship provides a ‘safe base’ to explore difficulties.
Much of my experience has been supporting children and young people, including 10 years as a school therapist for a well-being charity. I use creative and expressive methods such as art, sensory and play materials, as appropriate to age and development to help young people communicate that which is hard to put into words.
I work with women offering an open and collaborative space to explore life’s complexities and reconnect with their strengths. My aim is to help you to explore difficult feelings; to develop a deeper awareness and thus to navigate a way forwards. When we feel seen, heard, and accepted, healing and change becomes possible.
