I truly believe that no matter who you are or where you are from, at some stage in your life you will experience difficulties and therapy can make all the difference. There are many issues that can feel overwhelming e.g. depression, anxiety, relationships to name but a few and I know it can feel quite scary taking that first step talking to someone you don't know. However, you will find that I am really easy to talk to, professional and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. My aim is to make a difference and have a positive impact on your well-being.
I am a genuine, caring and empathic person who can offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to explore your issues and together we will be able to find the best way forward for you. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within the BACP’s Ethical Framework.
I have worked in Further Education for thirteen years, counselling both staff and students and have gained experience of dealing with a vast array of issues. I have worked with clients from many different cultures and age groups ranging from 16 to 60+ which has enhanced my knowledge and skills. I also continually update my skills/knowledge.
