For over 13 years I have been helping people to make wanted changes in their lives, and to develop deeper understandings of themselves and the way they relate to others. The difficulties I have helped people with are wide-ranging, and include anxiety and depression, relationship and parenting difficulties, low self-esteem, work related difficulties including bullying, OCD, BDD and childhood trauma. I have worked in a number of different contexts including four NHS trusts, a specialist rehab facility for alcohol addiction, and a charitable organisation supporting children affected by domestic violence.
I will offer you a warm, supportive and collaborative space where together, we make sense of how your particular struggles came to be. We will formulate goals that you would like to achieve in therapy to provide an agreed focus, and to ensure you are getting what you need. I primarily use an integrative approach using Schema Therapy and CBT
