I am here for you when talking really helps. There is something amazing about being listened to and heard by another, and it is rare in our busy lives. I have worked extensively, helping people during challenging times. My previous career as a senior manager in the public sector, with significant responsibility, has enabled me to gain great insight into issues affecting people’s lives. I have also experienced the benefits that therapy can bring and so am inspired to help others experience that too.
At its heart counselling is about listening, being heard and really understood. The time spent with a counsellor is unique and may be the only time when you don’t need to hide feelings away, dress them up or worry about how others may react or be affected. This is your time and this gives you the chance to really explore what is going on for you.
