I am qualified as an integrative counsellor and supervisor. Central to my counselling approach is building a warm, confidential and restorative relationship with each of my clients. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a variety of counselling theories and approaches to suit each client's individual needs. An initial session of approx 30 mins (free of charge) can be arranged to discuss your requirements and how I can support you.
Counselling is a process that helps you express yourself to someone outside of your situation. This can help you make choices or reach decisions on how to handle your concerns. I will encourage you to talk about what is troubling you and listen to what you have to say.
The aim is to help you become clearer about both the extent and the effect of the problem, and to help you recognise possible solutions – ones that will work for you. I have experience of working with a variety of presenting issues including, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and bereavement.
