I have studied focusing, CBT, mindfulness, couples and group facilitation, coaching and creative thinking. At Emotionalskills we offer a straightforward therapeutic skills course designed specifically to help each unique client individually. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work with: adults, young people (15 plus), older people who thought they were too old to change, couples who want to stop arguing, struggling family units and people who want to realise a fulfilling life.
My research Masters Degree (UEA) in psychotherapy concentrated upon the theory of personality and resulted in my developing an integrative psychotherapeutic model. I have helped clients with anxiety disorders, depression & low mood/feeling sad, relationship & couples issues, anger & frustration, family & teenage issues, dissatisfaction & unhappiness.
