Do you feel stuck, sad, or anxious? Are you a parent concerned for your child or teen? Life can throw up difficulties at any time, a difficult childhood, trauma, or a relationship breakdown. You or your child may have experienced bullying, difficulties fitting in or managing social and cultural expectations. These experiences can lead to the development of anxiety and low mood, self esteem issues, and other mental health difficulties. I am experienced in using humanistic and evidence based approaches to treat complex issues, across all ages. I have specialist training in treating eating disorders and anxiety.
Talking to a therapist can make a difference. The process can help you to understand yourself and the impact of your behaviours more deeply. I can support you long term or short term to develop alternative coping strategies and new cognitive and behavioural patterns. Ultimately resulting in better mental health, improved relationships and quality of life.
I am experienced in working proficiently in different settings such as schools, the NHS and privately. This has enabled me to develop a flexible approach to meet individual needs. Taking this step can be daunting and overwhelming, I aim to help you feel at ease, in a safe and confidential environment, with the end goal of becoming fully self supporting.
