I understand that it can be exceptionally daunting figuring out what type of support you need, and therapy can often come with preconceptions. I hope my years of experience as a psychologist working in private inpatient settings helps to reassure you of my non-judgemental, compassionate and person-centred approach. I understand that one size does not fit all and I will work alongside you to figure out the therapeutic approaches most suited to your needs. I am trained in a number of therapeutic modalities including CBT; CFT; CAT; RO-DBT and MANTRA.
The approach that I use involves an initial assessment and formulation (understanding why someone behaves the way they do). I will guide and support you, at your own pace, to explore the reasons for the development of your difficulties and help you identify what is keeping you stuck, repeating the same cycles of behaviour.
My practice offers a safe space to explore your difficulties where nothing you say will shock me, and you can be secure in the knowledge that I will support you throughout the process.
