Would you like to take your therapy or supervision outdoors?…. I offer therapy to adults and young people (14 +) I specialise in outdoor psychotherapy. I have found that taking therapy into outdoor natural environments enriches the counselling experience. It spurs deeper, creative ways of thinking and our movement through the landscape allows people to feel unstuck while confronting their problems. Taking therapy outdoors is an option for everyone regardless of fitness and ability.
In line with my clinical specialism in echo-psychotherapy I also offer supervision outdoors and welcome therapists and pastoral practitioners.
My approach to counselling is Integrative. This means that I’m trained in a number of counselling approaches that enable me to be flexible to suit the individual needs of each person. The majority of my work has been with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, loss, relationships, family conflict, psychosexual matters, addiction, and identity issues.
In our sessions together I will listen to you and help you to explore what is on your mind. This will give you a better understanding of your feelings, thought processes and patterns in behaviour. I will support you to find your own solutions and build a picture of what you want to change and a plan of how to do this successfully.
