Hi, my name is Seán and I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I believe that counselling can not only help us explore, understand and address difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours, but can also support us in becoming the best version of ourselves possible. By helping us explore our relationships, embrace change and grow in self awareness, a positive therapeutic experience can ultimately help us feel more content with our lives and who we are as individuals.
Aware that we are all unique and have individual needs, I draw on various theoretical approaches aimed at providing the best fit for both client and counsellor. Using core elements of these approaches I create a safe and supportive environment free from judgement, where you can experience empathy and understanding while working through difficult issues.
With so much to consider, choosing a counsellor can be difficult and its important to find the right fit for you. A good client-counsellor relationship is, I believe, the cornerstone of any successful therapy, so if you have any questions at all, feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to help where I can.
