I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, loss, relationship difficulties, and significant life changes. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward following difficult experiences or periods of change.

Life can be complicated and there are no rules to show you how to navigate and cope with feeling anxious, burdened, lost and alone. In this fast paced world, our culture, traditions, and society can have you feeling trapped, encouraging you to make less time for discovering who you are, accepting how you feel and deciding what you want right now. So, I celebrate that you have found your way here. You have found a place to feel understood, accepted and genuine companionship that you can extend to yourself.

A word in season, soothes the soul. Hi, my name is Ola, founder of New Ways Therapy. I help people to heal from relational trauma, emotional pain and constant overwhelming thoughts and feelings. I have an 18yr background working closely with children, families and individuals. I work with clients that have experienced trauma in childhood, families, relationships and at work. You will be provided with a safe place to help you unpack your experiences, process your emotions and explore ways of moving forward in your healing journey. If you are putting on a brave face, but suffering inwardly, this is a sign to seek support.

Hello,I am committed to providing psychotherapy in a non-judgmental,safe and confidential environment.I work with IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR. I am an experienced therapist with many years of helping clients make sense of their emotions and difficulties.I am an LGBTQ+, POC & and poly-friendly therapist. Psychotherapy provides a safe, regular, reliable and confidential space in which to explore life's problems and past traumas. Change becomes possible, and a range of different choices can be made. We can see how the past impacts the present and work together with compassion and acceptance toward healing.

Speaking with someone for the first time about personal issues or trauma can feel really daunting. It is important to feel safe and not judged when talking about difficult things, and my aim is for us to develop a relationship where you can explore whatever it is that you need to. There is not an exhaustive list of the reasons for coming to counselling initially but one thing is sure and that is it begins with building trust and beginning to speak openly. Our sessions will be collaborative: I will facilitate, but you will lead the way. Even if you can't pin point why things feel difficult, you're not alone.
