My typical clients are those affected with different forms of compulsive / addictive behaviours - these might include Porn, Sex and Love Addictions; Gambling & Narcotics abuse; or those who are Workaholics. Usually clients first see me when they have reached a major crisis point in their lives and are seeking a person who has an understanding of their issues and how to help change their situation by tackling their problems head-on. I also undertake Relational and Pyschosexual therapy for individuals and couples. Further details on my background and approach can be found online at www.trustedtherapeutics.com

Hey!  I am a Cognitive Behavior Psychotherapist. I personalise each session for the individual and their unique requirements. I do this by matching the pace set by you, the client. Together we explore what is going on in your life, in a safe, non-judgmental environment, where you are the expert of the room. Often people find the experience of someone listening & hearing what is being said as a unique experience and this encourages a new level of openness, feelings of acceptance and being understood. This experience can facilitate change in many areas of life.

I have worked extensively with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD and relationship issues, and with people living with the long-term effects of trauma.
In these difficult and anxiety-provoking times, it is more essential than ever to look after our mental health. Did you know that evidence shows that online therapy is equally as effective as face-to-face? My therapy practice is running as normal, with all consultations now online or via phone. I draw on a number of different therapeutic approaches to provide an intervention that suits you and supports you to meet your goals. I provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore your difficulties. I will work with you to come up with a treatment plan, unique to you, that meets your needs and helps you move forward.

As an actor/performer for 20 years, I spent the majority of my time looking into what makes people tick. Why do we do what we do and what do we get out of it? These questions are very rarely easy to answer about ourselves and this can lead us to feel life is unfulfilling or lead to a myriad of mental health issues. We can get anxious and depressed from life. I use my experience in understanding others as a way of conceptualising what you want and how you might achieve it. I will never tell you what to do, but I will absolutely stand beside you whilst you build the strength and self-belief to do what you need to for yourself.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Counsellors
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviours that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). It affects children, kids, teens and adults. Often the person carries out the behaviours to get rid of the obsessive thoughts, but this only provides temporary relief. Not performing the obsessive rituals can cause great anxiety. A person's level of OCD can be anywhere from mild to severe, but if severe and left untreated, it can destroy a person's capacity to function at work, at school or even to lead a comfortable existence in the home.
