“We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” - Anais Nin. Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Daniela and I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a member of the professional body BACP. I work from my home therapy room in the west end of Glasgow (pictures underneath). It is my hope that I have created a serene, warm and welcoming space for us to work together with whatever issues you are experiencing. Starting therapy can be daunting and the fact you have taken this first step and started looking is courageous and is an indication that you want your life to be happier and more fulfilling.

Pain, manifests in many varied ‘illnesses’. Whether they be Physical or Psychological. It could be Arthritis, ADHD, Addictions, or Mental Ill Health. The root cause is always some environmental trigger, whether in childhood or adulthood. The Medical Institutions treat only the symptoms of this pain, not the causes. Pharmacotherapy can be beneficial in the short term, to alleviate intense physical or psychic pain, but Western Medicine, has demonstrably failed, to address the causes and manifestations, of chronic illness: physical or psychological. I offer an initial Assessment of cause and create a comprehensive, self care plan.

Does it feel like the world doesn’t understand you, are you seeking clarity, and craving change? Your story is yours to write, and counselling can be part of that process. I believe that finding yourself isn’t about following a predetermined script—it’s about exploring, questioning, and embracing every part of who you are, even the pieces that feel uncertain. Whether your journey feels like Elphaba’s - misunderstood, pushing against norms, carving your own path - or Galinda’s - searching for clarity, transformation, and connection - self-discovery is an adventure.

At different times in our lives we go through challenges that can affect how we feel and have a negative impact on us. We all have unique ways of dealing with situations. At these times, many people find it helpful to explore, in a safe space, how they are feeling with somebody else.

I’m Connor, an integrative counsellor offering flexible, trauma-informed support in-person, outdoors in nature, or online. My ideal client might feel burnt out, overwhelmed or disconnected, unsure where to turn but knowing something needs to change. They could be carrying trauma, juggling a high-pressure role, or facing challenges with addiction, grief or chronic stress. What they want is space to breathe, to be heard without judgement, and to make sense of what’s going on. They’re looking for support that feels human, flexible and real.

Life feels hectic and busy most of the time. I'm sure at some point in the past we have all wished for a quiet moment to reboot our busy lives. So why is it so hard to make that happen? There are so many pressures we put on ourselves and the way we go about life..... if you need a neutral, supporting person to talk these feelings through with, or even some support in seeing things in a different way... I'm here! Friendly, enthusiastic and very supportive. No ones circumstances are the same and no one answer is right. We could find a new way of coping together to help you find the way to adjust to life today and going forward.

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, overwhelm or feeling generally stuck then maybe I can help you. Life can be so difficult at times. Sometimes our usual coping strategies don't seem to be doing the trick and we need some extra support. I know it can be difficult seeking help however, giving ourselves the time to consider our difficulties away from the distractions of life can be enormously useful. Together we can create a plan to empower you to overcome your challenges and work towards positive change.
