I work with young people (11-22) in school settings, in the community and also as an online counsellor for young people. My aim is to provide young people a space to talk about things that are important them or that they are finding difficult and work with them to find solutions to these difficulties. I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist based in the Glasgow area. I work predominantly within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, but also draw on perspectives from other therapies giving me a more holistic approach to my practice.

From childhood we are given messages about the ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ ways to feel, think and behave – messages that can teach us that we must hide or supress aspects of our authentic selves in order to be acceptable to others.
