Welcome! Talking is a wonderful way to share what’s on your mind. You may not even know what is bothering you, but by talking, it helps to get in touch with your emotions and make sense of your thoughts. Changes are often small but can be significant. Speaking with someone who is really listening and can offer a non-judgemental space to fully express yourself, improve your self awareness, and accept you for being you, can help!

I work with thoughtful, sensitive individuals and couples experiencing emotional numbness, anxiety, low mood, or relationship disconnection. Many come during life or relationship transitions, feeling outwardly functional yet internally stuck or uncertain. These patterns often have deep roots, and together we explore them with care, curiosity, and depth. I keep my practice intentionally small, offering a calm, relational space to support meaningful change, greater emotional connection, and a more fully alive sense of self and relationship.

I appreciate how daunting it is to trust a stranger and be vulnerable with them; taking this first step is extremely brave! I truly believe we can find meaning in our suffering, and hope to provide an authentic experience where you feel held, heard and safe. I came into this role as I genuinely care about human suffering and hold great empathy towards all. Life will throw many curveballs at you; reflection, awareness and understanding through our sessions will help equip you to navigate through them the best you can. Through knowing yourself you will be able to understand your reactions and how to bring about peace in yourself.

I have a particular interest in supporting clients who are navigating complex family dynamics, or who may be carrying the impact of trauma and abuse.
My counselling practice is rooted in the belief that real change grows out of a relationship where you feel truly seen, understood, and accepted. Counselling is a space where it’s enough to arrive as yourself, bringing the worries, uncertainties, and hopes that are part of your story. In our sessions, we’ll create a space where you feel safe to be authentic , and together we will develop a deeper sense of acceptance and understanding – both between us and, most importantly, within yourself. I work from a person-centred, psychodynamic, and somatic foundation.

Hello and welcome. I’m a person-centred therapist who believes that much damage is done in relationships. I also believe that, as hard as it might seem, it is in relationship that we heal. The core of my practice is in offering you a relationship you can trust. Where you’re accepted, held and supported. I will welcome you, exactly as you are.
Whatever you are dealing with, I commit to working with you openly and sincerely as myself. I will listen, understand and engage with you sensitively and compassionately as a “fellow traveller”, in the hope that it will allow you to feel safe to explore your concerns.

You may be a high-masking autistic or ADHD woman. You may have spent years coping, and even outwardly succeeding, until your nervous system simply can’t keep up. Many of my clients are neurodivergent women, often late-diagnosed or self-diagnosed, navigating burnout, perimenopause, trauma, self-doubt, and deep exhaustion from masking. You may have tried therapy before without lasting change and feel stuck in the same patterns. You’re looking for specialist, neurodiversity-affirming therapy that helps you understand why you struggle and offers practical ways to move forward.

Family Therapy Counsellors
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.
How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.
How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.
Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
