Exhausted from carrying pain, trauma, or self-doubt?
You don’t have to carry it alone.
I'm Amber, and you're in the right place. I offer online therapy for people who are ready to move forward. Therapy with me is your space to put it all down, the heaviness, the self-doubt, the “I should be coping by now” thoughts , without fear of being judged. Many people I work with come in feeling like they’ve been holding it all together on the outside, while inside they’re tired, anxious, or quietly falling apart. If that sounds familiar, this is a space where you don’t have to pretend anymore.

If you're newly diagnosed or self‑diagnosed with autism or ADHD, we can work together to understand what this means for your past, present and future, and find ways to cope in a world that may not always feel built with you in mind.
There’s not one best way to have therapy. Some clients enjoy a regular weekly session in my cosy room, often with my dog Bella keeping us company. Others prefer more flexibility, whether that’s adjusting the frequency of sessions or choosing a format that suits them best, including face‑to‑face, online, or outdoor therapy. I work daytime Monday to Wednesday.

Your child might have ADHD, Dyslexia, development delay or something else, but solutions offered do not improve their quality of life?
I offer a non-invasive, drug-free therapy based on primitive reflex integration. What is this? Primitive reflexes are genetic patterns that allow brain skills to function effectively. Some children, due to several reasons do not develop properly or don't integrate these reflexes.

You might feel stuck in patterns that you can't seem to break free of, or have difficulty connecting with other people, or feeling true intimacy. You might have been putting on a 'mask' to go out to work and function in the world, but underneath are living with pain in various forms: depression, anxiety, grief or anger. If you feel motivated to make changes but don't know where to start, then psychotherapy might be right for you. With time, as you start to feel safe enough to talk in depth about the things that have been troubling you, therapy can become a very real relationship of trust and openness.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.
How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.
How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
