Hello and welcome! I am a registered member of BACP, and I offer online therapy, which means we can meet wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that's your desk, couch or wherever feels safe for you. You don't need to be anyone else here - just you. In addition to my professional training, I have a personal understanding of some of the emotional challenges people bring to therapy, such as anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem issues, identity and relationship difficulties which has enriched my work.

Hello, I am a Psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner, Dramatherapist and Clinical Supervisor. In therapy, participants are supported to use creative expression to set goals, solve problems, express feelings and achieve improved mental health. Together in therapy there will be opportunities to consider how your personal life informs the way you experience the world. My work is influenced by trauma-informed approaches, which allow us to look at ourselves and understand why we may suffer. I am also a qualified secondary school teacher with extensive experience of working with people with trauma, autism, ADHD, anxiety, bereavement and loss.

Sometimes we experience changes or traumas that leave us struggling with the pressures of life, relationships, work, or studies. This can affect our self-esteem, our sense of identity, and our ability to cope. This can become overwhelming and may lead us to unhelpful or harmful thoughts and behaviours. With help, we can overcome our difficulties and learn to manage our emotions more effectively. With compassion, empathy, respect, and a safe space, we feel heard, considered, and valued. By understanding our thoughts and behaviours we can feel empowered to make positive changes that can lead us to fuller and more enjoyable lives.

Do you often feel a sense of guilt or shame around food? Do thoughts of food become intrusive or overwhelming? Are you often binging or eating until you feel uncomfortable or sick? Perhaps you are fixated on 'healthy' or 'clean' eating? Maybe you 'purge' by excessively exercising, restricting, making yourself sick, using laxatives, or have a history of yo-yo dieting? Perhaps you avoid whole food groups and are often called a 'fussy' or 'picky' eater? Or a combination of any of the above? It sounds like you are struggling with an Eating Disorder!

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, ND, a sex positive counsellor and supervisor i know the need for a safe, accepting space for what you want to bring to therapy.
I work with individuals, relationships & all family dynamics - ‘logical and biological’ - stuck communicating safely through conflict and disconnect. We work together to find a compassionate understanding of the challenges you have, how they are impacting you, and strategies to think, feel and be different in them to feel safe and secure. Knowing how to have confident relationships with those around us is how we thrive and this often means learning new ways to talk, act and self advocate within them. Communication is the lever of connection so we will learn new, different or more ways to do this with yourself and/or others.

Patient. Reliable. Approachable. I’m an experienced Irish psychologist, with a practice primarily focused on relationship difficulties. These create psychological challenges that can preoccupy us in daily life. Our self-understanding is built up through our relationships, through what gets reflected back to us from those closest to us. As a result, difficulties like infidelity, jealousy, envy, loneliness, repeating conflicts - these can cut to the core of who we are. Working together, I can support you to rebuild trust in yourself, and make greater sense of the difficult relational reality you find yourself in.

I work with clients of any gender on issues such as orgasm issues, erection problems, premature/early ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, low desire, pain and penetration problems (e.g. vaginismus, vestibulodynia, vulvodynia), compulsive sexual behaviour, kink and fetish exploration, this list isn't exhaustive so please reach out to hear more.
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, alongside this I'm a Trainee Clinical Sexologist and Relationship Therapist. I understand therapy can be daunting, especially discussing intimacy and sexual issues. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space is key to exploring these issues. Psycho-sexual therapy can enhance relationships and sex life. My integrative approach tailors interventions to the individual's needs and will help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how they relate to their own body and to sex itself. I work with individuals and couples/intimate partners.

Most of us need someone in our lives to feel safe and close to, and who will want that with us. A good relationship is being close enough to feel seen and heard, while having enough space to maintain a sense of agency and choice. But in life that balance is sometimes hard to find or sustain. We get stuck, or feel isolated or frightened. That's when therapy is important, to help you explore relational questions in a safe in judgemental way, to work out what is best for you.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Counsellors
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialised knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organisations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognise a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognise a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
