My name is Scott, and I am a registered and accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist with BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), with over 12 years experience. I am qualified to MSc level (Masters - Level 7), and commit to ongoing extensive professional development.
I believe the counselling space has the potential to be transformative - by being truly heard and understood, it can be a journey of deep self-discovery, positive change and the beginning of a process for living more authentically.
I offer a compassionate, reflective, warm and empathic practice underpinned by a non-judgemental attitude.
I won’t tell you what to do or try to “fix” you. Our work together will be guided by what feels most important and meaningful to you. I believe change happens not just through insight or technique, but also through the experiences of feeling safe, connected, and exploring your thoughts and feelings freely. My hope would be that this leads to positive change.
I offer a FREE 40 minute introductory meeting to explore what brings you to counselling and a chance to see if I best suit your needs at this time. I offer face-to-face sessions from a confidential office in central Shrewsbury. I also offer online sessions via Zoom.
