I also use simple, creative tools when it fits. Nothing awkward or forced, don't worry, I know role play is cringe, just practical ways to help you step out of your head and see things differently (which is often where the overthinking lives right?).
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a registered nurse in the NHS, I understand first-hand the pressure that comes with high responsibility roles and constantly being “on.”
