Welcome, I'm Sarah, a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. With over 15 years’ experience working in the social care sector with adults, children and families, I bring proficiency and compassion to my work. I believe that effective therapy is rooted in the therapeutic relationship. Central to my work is creating a safe, supportive and collaborative therapeutic space, where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and beliefs, and develop greater self-understanding and emotional awareness. Therapy offers time and space to reflect on what matters to you and what gives your life meaning.
I aim to offer therapy that is compassionate, hopeful and thoughtfully challenging, supporting change at a pace that feels right for you. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, neurodiversity, life transitions, chronic illness and body image issues.
Therapy provides an opportunity to explore your inner world and to be understood as a whole person, within the wider context of your life experiences.
