Life can sometimes feel overwhelming: anxiety, lack of self-esteem, self-criticism, grief, life changes – are you struggling with issues and difficult feelings that are hard to manage alone, perhaps even more in this current climate? Attentive, respectful and caring therapy can be a powerfully supportive and healing choice towards regaining a sense of hope and purpose. Together we work to gently uncover what you need to be able to live in a more fulfilled, meaningful and satisfying way.
An experienced and sensitive bereavement counsellor, I also have considerable interest and experience working with developmental disruptions such as shame and low self-esteem and problems in relationships. I'm interested in the person as a whole, in what we 'hold' in our bodies and how that may help us to better understand ourselves and our healing needs.
Sometimes making the decision to come for counselling can seem the biggest hurdle; it may feel daunting and there's a lot of us to choose from. It's important to find someone who feels like a good fit and I offer a reduced fee (£15) for a full initial appointment so that you can see how I work and whether you like the idea of us working together.
