Need a breath of fresh air? Change of scenery? Anxieties and problems have weighed heavy recently and it's been very easy for things to feel like they are getting on top of us, or maybe you've been meaning to get some support for a while and now is the time to move forward and feel better. Over the years I have supported all kinds of people with a wide variety of things they find difficult and we can decide together if I am the right person and this is the right thing for you. I offer a flexible approach to counselling and counselling supervision working outdoors, walking, sitting, with my dog or yours, or both, and online.
There are also proven mental and physical benefits to being in nature, walking if you can, and being with companion animals. The way I work harnesses all of these to support you, and the confidentiality and range of difficulties we can address is just the same. No-one will know it's counselling unless you tell them - people will just see us out for a chat.
My dog Stanley and I have also trained in Animal Assisted Therapy and have worked together for six years. Why not combine your dog walk with your counselling session, join me and Stanley on our walk, or bring a flask and sit on a park bench in the sunshine. If the weather doesn't suit you we can switch from a walk to a zoom. Why not give it a go?
