Hello, I'm Sarah. I am a compassionate, trauma-trained therapist who can offer you a safe and confidential space within which we can explore the issues and difficulties you might be facing in your life, with empathy and without judgement. My specialisation is in helping with trauma, including recent or historic sexual abuse and/or other violence. We might explore low self-worth, loneliness, guilt, shame, anger, feelings of being misunderstood, humiliated or control issues and other possibly connected behaviours or feelings. I also provide help with anxiety and depression, dating and relationships and that powerful inner critic!
The overwhelm is real! We can all struggle at times, some of us for many years, and I am here to listen, to be there for you, and to be on your side. With over 35 years of lived-experience, your sessions with me will be your private and personal time - something just for you for a change - to explore whatever you need, or to find out what that is, safely.
There's no 'right way' to do therapy apart from regular sessions and a desire to feel better! I am available online or in person in my home clinic in SW11 and will be happy to hear from you and about what you need. Come and tell me a bit about it all. You're not alone.
