About
Welcome. I work alongside women at a women's counselling service and provide a warm and safe space for you to share whatever may be troubling you. You might be anxious, stressed or overwhelmed. You might be struggling to make sense of what has happened to you or feel stuck and can't see a way through. You may feel a sense of loss, alone and without direction. Whatever you are feeling, I offer a safe space so you can be truly heard, working at your pace to find a pathway through whatever issues you face. Accepting of whatever you chose to bring to our sessions. With you, by your side in whatever space feels most comfortable to you.
I offer :- Telephone: Zoom/online: Face to face: Walk and talk outside therapy. I am very passionate about what I do. I work at your pace, accepting and listening to whatever issues you choose to bring and work through. I work with a wide range of clients, with experience working for a women only counselling service, a GP practice, and disability services.
I am an integrative therapist and I practice using a person centred approach. You will be central to everything we do together. I use tools from other approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), creative therapy, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness and compassion theory depending on what feels right for you. I offer a free informal chat.
