I am a specialist couples therapist and Visiting Clinician at world-leading Tavistock Relationships.
I am based in Sevenoaks, Kent and I have a private room and work online.
I work with a wide range of couples from different cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations. Every relationship is different, but here are some of the difficulties I work with: communication, affairs, infertility, difficulties in trust, difficulties in different stages of life such as a first baby, bereavement, children leaving home or retirement and illness.
I also offer psychosexual work at a reduced fee whilst I complete additional training.
I work psychodynamically, this means we will think about past experiences and patterns that might influence your relationship. Relationships start out full of hope and expectation but can end up disappointing and being a source of dissatisfaction, resentment, and loneliness. We can think together about how to understand yourself better.
Starting therapy can be daunting, and it might make you feel anxious and worried, but lots of people feel better having met with a therapist to start talking about their difficulties.
