Hi, I’m Sarah. I imagine at the moment you might not be experiencing life as you'd hope to. Perhaps you feel anxious, sad, overwhelmed, stuck, lost, angry, frustrated, alone and/or are experiencing difficulties in your relationships. All these emotions are part of being human, but at times they can feel like they are taking over, causing distress and difficulties.
It can help to talk, and I offer a gentle, respectful, kind and compassionate presence, keen to listen without judgement, welcoming the whole of you, at your own pace.
I aim to be alongside you, working together to help you achieve the outcomes you desire from therapy.
We might work together to identify shorter-term, practical strategies to address current difficulties. And/or embark together on a longer-term journey of getting to know and understand yourself at a deeper level to create new possibilities; find peace and acceptance; initiate and sustain change; and/or create the opportunity for more choice in your life.
As a relational integrative therapist I focus on us building a safe and secure relationship, supporting you to explore and make sense of the things that have bought you to therapy. I draw on a variety of theoretical approaches (incl. humanistic, psychodynamic and somatic), working with you in a tailored and flexible way that meets your needs.
