I offer short and long term counselling to adults - providing a non-judgemental and empathetic space to be truly heard. I trained integratively but primarily work from a person-centred space. This means that I believe you are the expert in knowing what you need. However, I understand from personal experience that this internal voice can sometimes feel lost or silenced and having another person there to validate, listen and support your process can make a real difference.
My counselling and voluntary sector experience has focused primarily on those going through life transitions: including cancer diagnosis, bereavement and emotional challenges before and after becoming a parent. However people bring all sorts of things into the room so my experience is not limited to the above.
I work relationally and aim to create a space where you feel safe and heard, meeting you as a fellow human above all else. My training and experience allows me to work with you in a way that moves beyond how you might chat to a friend or family member for support however. I would love to hear from you.
