About
There are many different reasons people come to therapy. It may be that life seems overwhelming, you might feel low, anxious, or stressed and just want someone to help. You may feel like you keep repeating the same old patterns and it seems impossible to break the cycle. Relationships with partners, friends and children can be tough and you can feel like you just can’t cope at times. You may have lost somebody close to you. Or it may be a curiosity or an urge to make life better, happier and more fulfilling. Whatever the reason, I do believe that talking to a therapist can truly change lives for the better.
I work in a confidential, safe space where we can explore together where you are at the moment and where you would like to be. I have experience in helping adults with many difficult aspects of life - these include: anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationships, stress and many other challenging issues.
It is common when reaching out for professional help that you may feel like it’s weakness or you are failing - and with the stigma around asking for help this often means we feel we should be able to manage on our own so as not to show vulnerability. I believe it is brave to ask for help and a positive step towards healing.
