I practice a relational and integrated therapeutic approach that is tailored for each individual client, using both person-centred and psychodynamic theory to inform my work, as well as Gestalt, Polyvagal, CBT and Mindfulness techniques to complement this where appropriate.
I work with both adults and adolescents (11+ years) on a wide range of issues, that include: Grief, Anger, Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Stress, Low Self-Esteem, Relationships, Childhood Trauma, Depression / Low mood, Menopause and Neurodiversity.
As your counsellor, I will provide a safe and non-judgemental space in which we can work through whatever is causing you distress. I will listen, guide and support you, as together we start to identify what might be needed and working at a pace that you are comfortable with.
There is nothing too big or too small to bring to counselling. If it is causing you to feel unhappy, then it is worth exploring. Choosing the right therapist is important, so I offer all prospective clients a free 20-minute consult in the first instance, so you can decide if I'm the best person for you.
