I work with families, couples and individuals of all ages. I specialise in families where a child presents with an emotional, behavioural or mental health problem. This may include anxiety and low mood, emotional disregulation and attachment issues. I work with families with grown/adult/older children, grandparents and extended family. I have 23 years experience working with children and families in the NHS with a very broad range of complex issues. I offer a holistic approach to therapy, considering lifestyle, diet, exercise, spiritual beliefs, etc.
I work collaboratively with clients to explore experiences, enabling a safe space to think, process, to develop strengths and resources. This is done in a respectful and culturally sensitive environment. Working with the system helps sustain changes and enables understanding, creating shared perspectives and resolves conflict.
I can work with the complexity that is represented within families and couples respectfully. Talking about difficult things may seem daunting, I offer a space to think about things together collaboratively and safely at the client's pace
