I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, working in both private practice and academia. When offering therapy, I strive to be non-judgmental, compassionate and warm. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where both you and I come together to mutually agree on your goals for therapy. I take special care to be aware of the intersections in our identities such as gender, ethnicity, race, sexuality, neurodivergence and ability levels. I also value being receptive to your needs and aim to help you navigate any difficulties you are experiencing and come out the other side.
I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Clinical & Health Psychology. I work integratively, combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and Systemic Therapy. Aside from my clinical approach, I aim to prioritise your values, needs, experiences & personhood when working together.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, shame, bereavement, neurodivergence, autism, relationship difficulties and family strain. My main areas of expertise are in working with gender, sexuality and relationship diversity (GSRD). I am a published researcher, affirmatively exploring the sexualities of trans and non-binary people.
