I'm Sandra. The thought of starting therapy may feel scary but it can be so beneficial to anyone who is experiencing emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges. I am a trained counsellor and I can provide a supportive and confidential space to work through these challenges. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal and grow, and I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It is important to find a counsellor who is a good fit for you as I think the relationship that we build together is a key factor in the healing process.
My aim is to help clients develop the skills and insights they need to overcome their challenges, build stronger relationships, and live more fulfilling lives. For this to happen it is useful to approach counselling with an open and curious mind. I have a special interest in working with people who have been bereaved and who have been impacted by abuse.
I am a person-centred / psychodynamic counsellor dealing with the here and now while being curious about past experiences. I am a reflective, trauma-informed practitioner and offer a safe, non-judgemental compassionate space in order to explore any issues that are affecting you. I am dedicated to social justice, diversity, equality and inclusivity.
