I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (British Psychological Society) and a Practitioner Psychologist (HCPC). My qualifications and experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I regard human suffering and relational struggles as inevitable parts of all our lives. In therapy we may deal directly with life’s crisis and difficulties around transitions such as death of a loved one, divorce, illness and career crossroads. I have a wide range of NHS and private sector experience and can competently treat a wide range of psychological issues and distress for individuals and couples.
I am highly skilled in helping people with a spectrum of issues that arise in our personal lives, ranging from anxiety, OCD, depression, shame and self-esteem issues to stresses caused by separation, loss, life transitions and relationship difficulties. I also use EMDR for a range of issues, such as panic, anxiety, OCD, trauma and PTSD.
My focus is to listen to how you see your problems and work collaboratively with you to devise a treatment plan that is best suited to give you immediate psychological relief and help you to feel more confident and content in the future. My role is to support you in overcoming the difficulties and barriers that may be holding you back in your life.
