Hello and welcome, I'm Bryony and I am a Play Therapist & AutPlay Therapist working with clients in the Surrey, Woking and Guildford area. I work with children aged 4–14 who may be struggling with big feelings, anxiety or changes at home such as a new sibling or parental separation/loss. Some of the children I support are neurodivergent or have experienced early trauma, neglect, or difficulties with attachment. I offer a safe and creative space where children can build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. I also support parents and carers, helping families find more calm, connection, and joy in daily life.
Play Therapy offers children a way of expressing themselves through their natural form of communication - PLAY! My approach is child-led, always placing the child at the heart of their therapy. I am trauma informed, have extensive knowledge in child development and a grounding in pschoanalytic theory. I am neuro-affirming and have a special interest in this.
It can feel overwhelming when your child is struggling and you’re unsure how to help. I work closely with children and their parents/carers to nurture real, lasting change.
