Whether you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I welcome you to get in touch. I offer a calm safe space where together we can find clarity on what has brought you to seek counselling. My authentic, warm and inclusive approach helps to create a non-judgemental environment. At times it can be feel very confusing my core intention is to help build a supportive therapeutic relationship that promotes clients’ wellbeing and healing. I specialise in working from relational psychodynamic model and CBT. I hope to provide a dedicated time and safe space where we can explore and work through the struggles and challenges you are experiencing.
I have over fifteen years of experience of working with clients with a range of mental health difficulties. I have worked as a counsellor for Off the Record, Bristol Mind and the BRI where I offer counselling to clients with a range of issues. I also have extensive experience of working with students in higher education as a counsellor and wellbeing officer.
I also specialise in working with clients from South-Asian and Muslim backgrounds where I have worked with clients who have experienced difficulties and issues linked to identity, and meeting cultural expectations. At the heart of my counselling is a commitment to developing a trusting relationship where my clients feel listened to, safe and understood.
