As a clinical psychotherapist, I have over 10 year’s experience of working with patients and clients with many different struggles and difficulties. Trained as an integrative therapist, I work in a unique way that is based on your own individual needs. I believe that everyone is different and not every modality suits everyone. I know only too well how difficult life can be, yet uniquely different, we all suffer pain and loss in many similar ways. I feel truly humbled to work in this field and would be honoured to support you. You are not alone.
I spend quality time working with my clients to explore their own needs and find a way to work together to better the psychological and emotional dimension of their lives. I draw on models such as CBT, ACT and Existential approaches, amongst others, where I not only help my clients find ways to cope with perpetuating distressing symptoms.
I have worked with many clients over the years, but each and everyone I work deeply in understanding my client, allowing them to also understand who they are and what life means to them. I like to also use many evidenced based skills I have practised working in the NHS and in private practice to enhance and explore choice, freedom and responsibility.
