I'm a fully-qualified counsellor, registered with the BACP. I support clients who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, addiction and bereavement. We all experience difficult times in life and can sometimes feel stuck, overwhelmed, numb or lost. It may be that you’re coming to terms with a challenging life event, navigating a time of transition, or generally feeling unsure of the best way forward for you.
As a person-centred counsellor, my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you have the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, and reflect on what you want from life. The aim is to help you find a way towards greater self-awareness, resilience and wellbeing, and a life that feels more meaningful and purposeful to you.
To allow you to get a better understanding of counselling and how we might work together, I offer a first session at a reduced rate of £30. We can discuss what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to get out of our sessions, and you can get a better sense of whether my style and approach suit you. All sessions are entirely confidential.
