I am a Counsellor, Trauma Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. I can work with a range of difficulties with all ages, and specialise in working with children and young people’s Trauma. I work together with you to build a strong relationship while we assess what you need, then tailor support to meet your specific requirements, regularly reviewing to ensure support is working well.
I have worked and held Senior Therapist and Clinical Lead positions in a variety of environments including Social Care, Schools, Local Trauma and Mental Health Charities and most recently a National Therapeutic Provider.
I have worked Therapeutically with children, young people and families since 2006. I am a Person-Centred Counsellor working with Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Integrative and Creative models, so am able to adapt my approach using different strategies and resources to suit most needs, paying attention to what works best for you.
I provide a comfortable environment with free refreshments and toilet facilities. My aim is to focus on building relationships with acceptance, trust, and feelings of safety, before then working in depth through your difficulties or your supervision needs at your own pace.
