Even at the best of times, life can be a confusing, scary, and sometimes lonely experience. Are you experiencing a time of change? Facing a big decision? Feeling stuck? Searching for clarity or meaning? Perhaps you're longing for space where you can reflect and find your voice. Working together, we can find ways to improve your experience of the world and identify and overcome the various obstacles that we find along the way. I provide a friendly, non-judgemental, welcoming relationship where your thoughts and feelings can be safely unpacked and treated with care and attention to help make your life more fulfilling.
I work with a wide range of issues and am trained in a number of therapeutic approaches, ranging from creative thinking to philosophical and spiritual discussions. I welcome all clients over 18 and have lots of experience working with drug/alcohol dependency, plus I have extra interests in gender/sexuality and also in helping clients who hear voices.
I don't believe there is a 'one-size-fits-all' method to counselling, though I'm always rooted in the 'Person-Centred' philosophy; this means YOU lead the way in our sessions, and together we can find a way of working that suits your needs and which is taken at a pace that is right for you. Contact me by phone or email to arrange a free initial session.
